Saudi Arabia is once again surprising with its ambitious plans for the 2034 World Cup. According to the Arab News newspaper, a project is under development to build a stadium on top of a skyscraper, integrated into the futuristic city of Neom.
The “Sky Stadium” will be more than 100 meters above sea level and will have capacity for 46,000 spectators, making it one of the most impressive venues in the competition. Work is expected to begin in 2027 and end in 2032, in time to host World Cup matches.
