Israel bombs Iran although Trump asked Netanyahu not to do so

It is the chronicle of an announced escalation. The Middle East is going through its most dangerous moment this Monday since Washington and Tehran agreed to a ceasefire in April, with missile crossfire between Israel and Iran in the last hours and the return to the scene of Yemen’s Houthis. Iran’s emboldened Revolutionary Guard had marked an attack in the suburbs of Beirut as a red line. US President Donald Trump stopped one on Monday, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ended up doing so this Sunday, citing Hezbollah projectiles against Israeli soil. The result: 11 Iranian missiles against Israel, the first in two months. Trump then stated that he would demand that Netanyahu – who is staking his future at the polls in four months – “not retaliate.” The Israeli Air Force has, however, bombed Iran this morning and the Houthi militia has joined the conflict with a missile that has returned the anti-aircraft alarms to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Israel has stopped until further notice.
