Construction company announces that it is hiring a carpenter to work on the AABB Viaduct

Work on the AABB Viaduct, on Avenida Mamédio Bittar, in Rio Branco, continues at a fast pace and has just opened new job vacancies. A poster posted at the construction site informs that the construction company responsible is hiring carpenters. Interested parties can seek information directly at the construction site.

The project, which has an investment of R$25 million allocated by senator Márcio Bittar, is one of the main urban mobility interventions in the capital of Acre and should be delivered by the end of 2025. During a recent visit to the construction site, mayor Tião Bocalom stated that the inauguration is scheduled for December 28th, the date on which Rio Branco celebrates its anniversary.

The structure has already received a concrete base and the installation of metal beams, brought from Rio de Janeiro and Rondônia, has begun. According to the Secretary of Infrastructure and Urban Mobility, Cid Ferreira, the viaduct will have more than 20 beams distributed over six spans. After this stage, the iron structures and the deck will be assembled, where the vehicles will travel.

In addition to improving traffic flow, the Mamédio Bittar viaduct will also receive special care for its urban appearance. The mayor said that the space will feature four artistic panels, as well as water mirrors, LED lighting and a modern finish on the metal structures.

With the works on schedule and new contracts underway, the viaduct is consolidated as the main birthday present for Rio Branco in 2025.
