The event will be held in the capital of Pará from November 10th to 21st; improvements cost R$450 million
The president (PT) inaugurated this Saturday (Nov 1, 2025) the improvement works carried out at Belém airport. The capital of Pará will host COP 30 (30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change) from 10 to 21 November.
The objective of the works is to expand the offer of national and international flights in the State. The investment was R$450 million and 50,000 people are expected at the conference.

After the airport, the president also visited the rehabilitation works at the Outeiro Port Terminal. The place will be used to receive 2 ships that will serve as accommodation for delegations during the event. The vessels were contracted by the federal government.
Accompanying the president in Belém are the ministers of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, of Tourism, Celso Sabino, of the Environment, Marina Silva and of the Civil House, Rui Costa.
