Bregenz – The state of Vorarlberg’s plans for hospitals are encountering resistance. In advance of the presentation of the final plans for hospital reform by 2030, which was announced for Thursday, over 40,000 people have signed a petition since Sunday to preserve the maternity ward in the city-owned hospital in Dornbirn. State Governor Markus Wallner (ÖVP) called for cooperation on reform on Sunday. “It is not the time for isolated solutions,” said Wallner to the city.
