The new film “Death of the Demon: Catching Fire”derived from the franchise “Death of the Demon”it won an unprecedented scene involving hot wax.
In the scene, the protagonist family is frightened by one of the members possessed by the entity, who drinks hot wax from a lit candle. The video was released by the North American portal IGN (watch below).
The film is directed by Sébastien Vanicek (“Infestation”, “Mayday”) and starring Hunter Doohan (“Wandinha”), Luciane Buchanan (“Night Agent”), Souheila Yacoub (“No Man’s Land”) and Tandi Wright (“Pearl”).
In its latest theatrical release, “Death of the Demon: The Rise” (2023), the franchise brought a story that followed a group of people persecuted by evil forces after opening the Necromonicon, The Book of the Dead.
was created and originally run by Sam Raimieven responsible for the first Spider-Man trilogy released in theaters. The story resulted in five films (two of which were spin-offs, like the last one released) and a series titled “Ash vs. Evil Dead”, which ran for three seasons between 2015 and 2018.
The classic trilogy is made up of “One Hallucinating Night: Death of the Devil” (1981), “One Hallucinating Night 2” (1987) and “One Hallucinating Night 3” (1993). Years later, the derivatives “The Death of the Demon” (2013) and “The Death of the Demon: The Ascension” were released.
“Death of the Demon: Catching Fire” opens on July 9th in theaters.
