High penalties after alpine hut inspections in Tyrol and Vorarlberg

Innsbruck/Bregenz – As part of a key operation, the financial police in the anti-fraud office examined 32 alpine hut operations in Tyrol and Vorarlberg in September. The Finance Ministry reported on Saturday that fines of around 100,000 euros are likely to be due for 41 discovered violations. Almost one in five of the 128 employees checked was not properly registered.
