Vienna – Lower Austria and Styria want fewer immigrants. Therefore, an application was made to the Ministry of the Interior to allocate a smaller number of places in the settlement regulations. The request is granted in the draft of the new regulation. However, the Interior Ministry is not fulfilling Lower Austria’s demand to reduce its own quota to zero for legal reasons.
