The American pop singer Mariah Carey (56) has been announced by the organizers as the first major music act at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina. Carey’s performance on February 6, 2026 at Milan’s San Siro Stadium will reflect the celebration’s central theme of “harmony” and combine music with sport to underline values such as inclusion, respect and cultural exchange, it said on Monday.
