A 31st edition of the Critics Choice Awards it happens this Sunday (4) and all the details are already confirmed. The ceremony will be hosted again by the actress, comedian and presenter Chelsea Handlerwho returns to command the event and continues as the main face of the awards in 2026.
In addition to the night’s host, the Association announced an extensive list of guest artists to present the categories and present trophies throughout the ceremony.
The group brings together important names from cinema, television and international entertainment.

It will be held again at Barker Hangar in Santa Monicain California, maintaining the format that combines film and television categories in a single night. The event will be broadcast live this Sunday (4)with simultaneous exhibition on the channels E! e USA Network.
This year, the Critics Choice Awards also presents new features. Four new categories have been added: Best Variety Series, Best Stunt Design, Best Cast and Best Soundexpanding the technical and artistic recognition of productions.
In cinema, the main highlight is the film “Sinners”which leads the nominations with 17 nominationsincluding Best Film, Direction and several technical and acting categories. Right behind it appears “One Battle After Another”with 14 nominations.
Considered one of the most accurate thermometers for the Oscars and Emmys, the Critics Choice Awards celebrates, once again, the main names and productions of the year, and promises a night full of stars, remarkable speeches and moments awaited by the public.
