Corinthians secured a place in the final of the first edition of the Women’s Club World Cup in history. The Brazilian team beat Gotham FC, from the United States, 1-0, with a goal from Gabi Zanotti, and will compete in the final of the competition, which is being held in England.
The Brabas entered directly into the semi-final stage of the tournament, as did their opponents this Wednesday. In addition to them, Arsenal, from England, also advanced directly to the semi-finals.
The last classified was ASFAR, from Morocco, African champion.

When will the Women’s Club World Cup final be?
Corinthians should meet their rivals in the tournament’s final this Wednesday afternoon. Arsenal and ASFAR face each other at the Brentford stadium, in England, at 3pm (Brasília time).
The grand final is scheduled for Sunday (1st), at 3pm (Brasília time), at the Emirates Stadium, while the third place match will be held earlier, at 11:45am (Brasília time).

How the teams arrived
Corinthians guaranteed a direct place in the semifinals after winning the 2025 Women’s Libertadores. Under the command of coach Lucas Piccinato, the team carries out intense preparation in London.
Gotham FC won the Concacaf Champions Cup and the National Women’s Soccer League in November last year. The latter was the second trophy won in three seasons.
Current champions of the Women’s Champions League, Arsenal secured a place in the World Cup after beating Barcelona 1-0 in the European decision. The squad does not feature Brazilian athletes, but brings together important names in English football, such as Chloe Kelly, scorer of England’s winning goal at Euro 2022.
ASFAR, representing Morocco, won the African Women’s Champions League by beating ASEC Mimosas 2-1. It was the second continental title in the club’s history.
To reach the World Cup, the team also beat Wuhan Chegu Jiangda, from China, in the preliminary phase, again by a score of 2-1, in December.
