Survey shows that public health, inflation and education are also among the main challenges faced by the population
A Public safety is the country’s biggest problemaccording to a survey by the Paraná Research Institute, released this Monday (2). According to the public opinion survey, 22.2% of those interviewed named the area as the main national concern.
Subsequently, the public health was cited by 20.1% of participants, while the appear in third place, with 15.9% of mentions. THE public education was indicated by 13.8%, and the generation of employment and income, by 9.4% of those interviewed.
Other social demands were also remembered, although with less weight. The lack of social assistance and help for the poorest was mentioned by 6.0%, followed by basic sanitation (3,2%), works and infrastructure (1,9%) e lack of encouragement for sport (1,0%).
Furthermore, 2.1% cited other problems, 0.4% stated that none of the items represent Brazil’s biggest problem and 3.9% said they did not know or preferred not to give an opinion.

Methodology
The research is registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under number BR-08254/2026, in accordance with TSE Resolution No. 23,600/2019, for the position of President of the Republic. Data collection was carried out through personal, home and in-person interviews, between January 25th and 28th, 2026.
2,080 voters were interviewed in 160 municipalities, spread across 26 states and the Federal District. The survey has a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 2.2 percentage points for the general results. In regional analyses, the margin of error varies between 3.4 and 5.8 percentage points, depending on the region of the country.
