The images of the brutal collision of a Portuguese cargo ship that led to the conviction of a Russian captain

The case dates back to March last year, when the freighter Solong, captained by Russian Vladimir Motin and flying the Portuguese flag, collided with an oil tanker that was anchored off the United Kingdom.

The Russian captain was sentenced this Monday for the collision, having also been found guilty of the death of one of the crew.
