The Cinema City theaters, in Leiria, were flooded following the severe bad weather that hit the region, causing floods and flooding in several areas of the city.
The intense and persistent rain led to a rapid rise in river flows and the saturation of drainage systems, causing commercial and leisure spaces to be taken over by water within hours.
