The president of the (Supreme Federal Court), Edson Fachin, called for this Thursday (12) a meeting with his colleagues to discuss the new chapter of the crisis regarding , after the PF () presented evidence against the minister.
The meeting will be for Fachin to inform others about the PF report and the response that Toffoli has already sent to the presidency regarding the allegation of suspicion.
Fachin announced to the lawyers present in the plenary that he will begin hearing oral arguments in a trial on the responsibilities of the TCU (Federal Audit Court), but that he will end the session early “because there will be a dialogue between the ministers of this court”.
A Sheet found that everyone must participate in the meeting, with the exception of ministers Luiz Fux and André Mendonça, who are outside Brasília.
The PF sent Fachin a report in which it said it found mentions of Toffoli on the cell phone of the businessman, owner of Master, and messages pointing to payments made to the company Maridt, which has Toffoli among its partners.
The allegations led the minister to release two notes — one on Wednesday, stating that the PF’s request was based on “inclusions”, and another this Thursday, in which de Vorcaro, although he confirmed having been a partner in the Tayayá resort.
Behind the scenes at the STF, the reading is that Fachin is once again in a crossfire over how to deal with the intensification of stress.
