The governor sent a direct message to the mayor of Sena Madureira, Gerlen Diniz, during an interview this Thursday (12), following the controversy involving the invasion of a Deracre project in the municipality. The mayor would have decided to inaugurate the Pousada do Agricultor with the presence of Senator Alan Rick, without authorization from the state government, responsible for the project.
Gladson stated that he needs to remember that he is not governor and said that the mayor will have to explain himself about entering the construction site.
“I didn’t know he was governor. I didn’t like it and ordered action to be taken. He will have to give me a very good explanation. I thought it was very rude, especially since he wasn’t at his house. It was a government project, not city hall work. My relationship with Mayor Gerlen is very complicated,” he said.
The governor also stated that he is not fighting with anyone, but declared that he felt provoked by the mayor’s attitude and demanded action in municipal management.
“I’m not fighting with anyone. I’m very quiet in mine. He’s the one who’s coming to poke or create a situation in a project that belongs to the State. The State has a governor, it has a secretary. This is disrespectful to the rights of the state Executive Branch. He has to behave like the mayor of Sena Madureira and fill the holes there. I’m not upset, but I didn’t like it and I’m not going to remain silent. He has to give an explanation”, he added.
This Thursday (12), Gladson also dismissed a series of commissioned positions appointed by Gerlen in the state government.
