CPMI’s rapporteur, federal deputy Alfredo Gaspar (União-AL) says that the banker’s testimony to the commission, scheduled for February 26th, will maintain the focus on payroll loans offered by Master.
The rapporteur stated, however, that the revelations about Vorcaro’s connections with the minister () will bring “new developments” to the testimony.
“Vorcaro will be heard about the payroll loans. The testimony strategy changes absolutely nothing in relation to the investigations,” said Gaspar. According to him, the testimony will continue until the scheduled date.
]put even more spotlight on his arrival at CPMI. There is a whole development that is natural, but always with a focus on payroll loans”, he stated.
Parliamentarians predict that it is inevitable that, in addition to the payroll issue, the banker will also be questioned about the allegations regarding Toffoli.
Gaspar took the opportunity to ask the minister to leave the report on the Master case and share with the CPMI data on Vorcaro’s broken confidentiality that could help in the commission’s work.
“I hope that Minister Toffoli becomes suspicious or immediately returns to CPMI full knowledge of the material that had been declassified related to Vorcaro, such as telematic secrecy and telephone secrecy”, said the rapporteur.
