Milan – Figure skating star Ilia Malinin put her hands in front of her face and shook her head in despair: The 21-year-old world champion gave up the gold medal after a completely botched Olympic routine. Malinin landed on the floor several times in the final in the Milano Ice Skating Arena on Friday evening and even missed out on a medal altogether in eighth place with 264.49 points.
