A woman died during Carnival in Salvador, in the early hours of this Monday (16), after being run over by a cleaning truck.

The Salvador Urban Cleaning Company (Limpurb) regretted the case and asked revelers not to get on the vehicles. “Images circulating on social media show people climbing into vehicles, but this access is prohibited and poses risks. Limpurb reiterates that its vehicles operate following security protocols and that access is restricted to authorized professionals”, says an excerpt from the statement.
