“The Secret Agent” officially became a Carnival costume in recent days. This Monday (16), the director of the film, Glue Mendonça Son shared a photo of some revelers dressed as Dona Sebastiana.
“I keep posting these wonderful images of Carnival and a friend asked, ‘would you come back?’ Hehe NO”, wrote the filmmaker, who explained that he is not yet back in Brazil.
The film, which is competing in four categories and has already been awarded in other international events, served as an inspiration for many samba lovers this year.
From Dona Sebastiana, a character played by , to the comical and emblematic Perna Cabeluda, the ideas were diverse.
To complete the revelry in Pernambuco, the , which became known for being represented in the film by Kleber Mendonça Filho, was held this Monday. At a certain point in the production, Armando Solimões (Wagner Moura) even wore the club’s traditional t-shirt.
