According to the platform, the main problems reported by users involved the mobile application, the website and the playback of streaming videos. In Brazil, at around 10:28 pm, the number reached a peak of 47,000 records.

In publications on X, the official YouTube team reported that they were investigating the cause of the instability. In one of the messages, the company stated that it had identified a problem in its recommendation system, which would have prevented videos from being displayed in different areas of the platform, including the home page, application, YouTube Music and YouTube Kids.
According to the statement, the home page was back up and running, but the company stated that it continued working to implement a complete correction. The company also said that new updates would be released as soon as there was progress in solving the problem.
Until the last update of this report, the service showed signs of normalization for some users.
