Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest comes on the same day the former prince turns 66.

In a statement, Thames Valley police reported that, “as part of the investigation, today (19) we arrested a man in his 60s, from Norfolk, on suspicion of misconduct in public office”, without formally identifying the suspect.

Andrew, who had already withdrawn from public engagements and lost military titles and royal patronages after involvement in controversies in recent yearsreturns to the center of a new crisis that has repercussions in the United Kingdom and increases the pressure on the royal family.

Jeffrey Epstein was a billionaire with free movement among bankers, politicians, scientists, royalty and Hollywood celebrities. Behind the image of an influential investor, however, there was a criminal network of sexual exploitation of minors, operated for years with the help of accomplices and a protection system that still raises suspicions today.

FBI concludes that Epstein did not run sex trafficking ring

A review of internal documents from the United States Department of Justice indicates that the FBI has gathered robust evidence that Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused several underage girls, but designed to serve rich and influential men. The information appears in official records reviewed by the Associated Press (AP), including police reports, FBI interview notes and communications between prosecutors.

According to the records reviewed, federal agents extensively examined Epstein’s financial records, they analyzed emails and documents, conducted house searches, and interviewed victims and witnesses. The collected material consistently confirmed a pattern of sexual abuse involving teenage girls, in addition to a recruitment mechanism that included payments and promises of benefits.
