This material has been very popular for centuries – decorations, furniture, floors. It is used in many ways and in every room. Of course, we are talking about wood, which has recently been coming back into favor. Many people like to include them in the design of their interiors.
Wood is one of the best materials that can be used in interiors. It it doesn’t go out of fashion, although sometimes it falls into oblivion. However, wooden elements will never look outdated or tasteless. Moreover, this material is pleasant to the touch.
Wood fits perfectly with other natural elements among others glass, steel, brick or concrete. Solid wood can be renewed many times by sanding, oiling or varnishing, which makes it a material that will last for decades. Moreover, it has natural hygroscopic properties, which means that it helps regulate the air humidity in the room.
Well-exposed wooden elements – from floors, through wall panels, to furniture – they give the interior a warm, cozy character. Thanks to the variety of species, from light oak to dark walnut, this material allows you to customize the elements made of it to your own taste. Moreover, the natural aging of wood is considered in design to be a refining process, not a destructive one.

Wood will work well in any room. For example, in living rooms, especially high and well-lit ones, it can be the main material. Floors, furniture and wooden accessories will perfectly complement the arrangement of both modern and classic living rooms. It will work well, among others: oak – in combination with glass and metal it will create a beautiful composition.
Wood can also be a bond that integrates the living room with the dining room and kitchen. A uniform floor arranged in a classic fir pattern creates optical continuity and introduces order, allowing you to maintain a minimalist decor while avoiding the impression of austerity. Moreover, wood goes well with a variety of colors – light species will warm up darker rooms, e.g. those dominated by garnet. Darker ones can be combined, for example, with beige. Wood is such a graceful material that most compositions will look delightful.
In addition, wood can also be used in bathrooms – but it must be properly protected, so that it does not absorb excessive moisture. However, with proper protection, wooden shelves or decorations can successfully decorate bathrooms.
