You can never have too many cake recipes, especially those that delight with their lightness and attractive appearance. I got this recipe from a friend who lives in the Czech Republic. I tried once and failed. Now at home I bake two trays at a time, because the dessert disappears from the plate in the blink of an eye.
“Heavenly Clouds” is interleavedcombining the delicacy of choux pastry, velvety cream and fluffy whipped cream. The whole creates a harmonious composition of flavors and looks extremely impressive, like light, white clouds.
It will work perfectly as sweet for a weekend dessert, family celebrations, holidays or a simple meeting over coffee. Interestingly, many people like it because of its elegant appearance prepares heavenly clouds as an alternative to cake for name days or birthdays.

This Czech pastry quickly became a favorite in my home. It delights even the youngest with its taste. Preparation is not complicated, but it requires some time.
For this you need the following ingredients:
Cake:
- 250 ml of water
- 150 margarine
- 150 g of wheat flour
- 6 eggs
Cream:
- 500 ml of milk
- 130 g of wheat flour
- 140 g of powdered sugar
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
- 1 stick of butter
Additionally:
- 400 ml whipping cream 30%
- 200 g of chocolate
Preparation method:
- Pour water into the pot, add margarine and heat over low heat until the fat is completely dissolved. Add the flour and mix vigorously until a smooth, uniform mass is obtained. Heat for a while, then set aside to cool.
- Add the eggs one by one to the cooled mass and mix gently until a uniform dough is formed. Spread them evenly on two baking trays. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees C for about 20-25 minutes. Leave the baked tops to cool.
- In the meantime, prepare the cream. Mix milk, flour, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar thoroughly in a pot. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Cool it, then add soft butter and mix until smooth, fluffy and lump-free.
- Spread an even layer of cream onto one of the cooled layers pour melted chocolate over it. Place in the fridge to let the chocolate harden. Cut the second top into equal squares.
- Whip the cream until stiff and spread it on a counter covered with cream and set chocolate. Place the cut squares on top of the whipped cream. Pour chocolate over everything again.
- Ready dessert put it in the fridge for a few hours, for the layers to connect. Serve heavenly clouds chilled. Enjoy your meal!
