Rui Unas used his Facebook account on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 24, to share a reflection.
The actor and comedian posted a photo of the “altar” in his mother’s house, showing that today he understands the importance of this object.
“Yesterday, I went to have lunch at my parents’ house. At the entrance, my mother has this small domestic altar. If a few years ago, I paid no attention to it and even ridiculed it, today I find nothing but respect and beauty in this picture”he began by writing in the caption of the post he made.
Rui Unas highlighted the symbolism of the candle and the image of Our Lady of Fátima, highlighting the importance of spirituality in each person’s life.
“Presence, humility, gratitude, compassion… a light that guides, comforts and soothes. There are those who find this presence and light in other cults, beliefs, rituals and there is no one “better” than the other… however, in my opinion, an existence devoid of inner life is an incomplete existence… but this is me being crazy”realized.
