The ZU brand, dedicated to the well-being and health care of dogs and cats, opened two new stores, in Porto and Loulé, reinforcing its presence nationally. Invicta receives a new street space in the Aviz area, while Algarve now has a store in the Galeria Comercial do Continente Modelo in Loulé.
The two spaces provide food, hygiene products, veterinary items and accessories, and also include a SPA area, where teams of groomers provide bathing and grooming services. With these openings, which represent the creation of 12 jobs, the company surpasses 300 employees and increases the number of stores in operation in the country to 68.
Bruno Loureiro, Director of Operations at ZU, states that “ZU continues to grow and these two stores were designed to offer pet owners a complete experience, where quality, trust and convenience come together to take care of the well-being of their pets. They are spaces that provide both pet owners and their pets with a true ZU experience, where they can find a modern and welcoming environment, designed to make each visit simple, practical and inspiring.”
The manager also highlights that the space in Aviz “reinforces our presence in one of the most recognized areas of the city of Porto” and that the Loulé store represents “a relevant milestone in our expansion in the south of the country”. He adds that these openings “represent another step in our growth and innovation strategy, reinforcing ZU’s commitment to excellence and customer experience.”

It has a network of 68 stores in different Portuguese cities – 24 of which have an integrated veterinary clinic – and more than 300 employees. It provides services in the areas of veterinary medicine, bathing and grooming, in addition to selling food, hygiene, veterinary products and accessories.
