Air raid sirens sounded and explosions were heard over Jerusalem this Sunday (1), after the Israeli army reported having detected missiles launched from Iran towards Israel.

“Recently, the (Israel Defense Forces) identified missiles launched from Iran towards the territory of the State of Israel,” the army said.

“Defense systems are operating to intercept the threat,” the statement said, urging the public to stay in shelters.
