Salad with mustard and honey sauce that’s always a good suggestion. In spring and summer, I like to make it for a barbecue, and in other months it is often served at my house as a light dinner.
The combination of ingredients in this recipe guarantees not only a perfectly balanced taste, but also plenty of vitamins and minerals – and the salad is very easy to prepare.
- 1 head of lettuce,
- 1 red onion,
- 2 tomatoes,
- 5 green olives,
- 100 g canned chickpeas,
- 100 g sera feta,
- 1 bunch of mint,
- 2 sprigs of thyme.
Honey mustard sauce:
- 2 teaspoons of mustard,
- 5 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 3 teaspoons of honey,
- a pinch of salt,
- a pinch of pepper.
Wash the lettuce and tear it into small pieces. Place it in a salad bowl.
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into eighths, and the olives into slices. Peel the onion, cut into slices and blanch with boiling water. Chop the thyme finely. Add the vegetables and thyme to the lettuce and mix.
Place the drained chickpeas and crumbled feta cheese on top of the salad.
Prepare the dressing. Mix all ingredients together until completely combined. Pour it over the prepared salad.
The salad with mustard and honey sauce is ready to eat immediately. It can also be eaten after cooling in the refrigerator.
