In an interview with Rádio Nacional this Tuesday (3), the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad (PT), stated that he may meet this week with the president Lula (PT) to define a possible candidacy in this year’s elections.
“She [reunião] has not been marked yet. It will be scheduled as the president announced. But she hasn’t been marked yet. I believe it should happen this week, depending on the situation,” he said.
Asked if he would accept being a candidate for the , the minister said he would not anticipate information about a meeting that has not even been scheduled yet. The minister pointed out that the meeting depends on the president’s agenda.
“We have these two, three weeks to discuss the scenario better and check where each person can help more and collaborate with this”, he added.
