The complaint was made by Pinheiro in his plea bargain, signed in 2019. “In view of the steps taken, sufficient material evidence was not presented to initiate criminal prosecution,” said the prosecutor.
According to him, the police authority found no evidence to corroborate the accusations. “It appears that the police authority adopted all the useful and necessary measures to unravel the facts narrated, without, however, being able to find sufficient elements that would support just cause for the launch of a police investigation into the facts”, he concluded.
