Nuno Azinheira was the guest on the program ‘Júlia’ this Monday, March 9, and spoke with Júlia Pinheiro about the last few months, as he was hospitalized due to a heart problem.
Back on television, the commentator and journalist then explained that at the end of last year he began to feel extreme tiredness and that, at the encouragement of his brothers, he was challenged to seek help.
Nuno Azinheiro then revealed that he was hospitalized on December 26th and that, after a series of tests, he was diagnosed with a chronic problem.
“After all, what do you have? What was the diagnosis?”the presenter wanted to know. “A cardiac stenosis, which is an atrophy in one of the valves that carries blood to the heart. It is a severe stenosis, although doctors told me that there are thousands of people who live with stenosis (…)”realized.
The commentator and journalist also revealed that the operation is a possibility, appearing calm about this procedure: “Sooner or later, I don’t know if before the summer or after the summer (…). I’m not scared at all, I was very hypochondriac, I always have been (…). From the moment they moved me, I lost that fear (…). Anyway, the doctor told me: “Nowadays, heart interventions are much less evasive (…)”. I just hope I can wake up, because I like living (…). I have this condition, I have to protect myself, I want to live, I love living (…)”he said, noting that there is still no set date for the surgery.
