After action by the Public Ministry of São Paulo (), Luís Felipe de Oliveira, known as on social media, was ordered into preventive detention, accused of having carried out the so-called “love scam”.
According to the complaint, offered by prosecutor Renan Mendes Rodríguez, the accused caused losses of almost R$208,000 to a man who thought he was having a relationship with a woman.
The arrest was ordered last Wednesday (4/3), the same date on which the 1st Criminal Court of Cotia, in , received the complaint, transforming the accused into a defendant in court for the crime of embezzlement committed through electronic fraud.
Also at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, the kidnapping and blocking of the influencer’s funds was granted up to the limit of the financial damage caused to the victim.

According to investigations, the influencer created a fake profile on social networks and messaging applications to pretend to be a woman and start a virtual romantic relationship with the victim. For more than two years of conversations, he exploited the man’s emotional fragility to induce him to make bank transfers and payments under various pretexts.
The defendant has a large reach on social media, with around 2.3 million followers on TikTok and another 1.5 million and 451 thousand followers on Instagram profiles.
As determined, Oliveira has been using this visibility not only for illicit practices, but also to spread tactics on how to obtain money fraudulently, including through videos published on the internet.
According to the Public Ministry, the accused has a history of virtual scams against several victims and has already been cited in different incidents related to fraud carried out on virtual platforms.
Expulsion from reality
The influencer was expelled from Rancho do Maia, by Carlinhos Maia, in 2024.
Carlinhos Maia commented that people only started to like him because of a live broadcast made on his social networks to a million people in which the boy opened his heart. “Today I might not have shown the girls hugging him, I might not have shown the evolution, but you need to understand the behind the scenes”, he detailed.
