NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region launched a personalized support service aimed at companies in strategic sectors in the region, within the scope of the INOVA ALGARVE 3.0 project.
According to NERA, this initiative aims to identify investment needs and support companies in accessing financing instruments and innovation incentive systems.
The support is aimed at companies from various sectors considered strategic for the regional economy, namely carob and almond, beekeeping, citrus, sea economy, arbutus, geological resources, plants and flowers, wine and tourism. The service will be available until April 15th.
According to the business association, this service includes the identification of investment and training needs for business innovation, as well as the framing of these needs in incentive systems for productive innovation and other instruments to support business qualification.
Facilitate access to financing
The objective is to facilitate access for companies in the region to investment projects and financing mechanisms.
For Vítor Neto, president of NERA, «this initiative seeks to bring companies closer to available support opportunities and help them identify investments that can benefit from available incentive instruments, without leaving anything behind».
The official also adds that “we want to take advantage of the current support framework from the European Union to transform the region by bringing innovation and business qualifications to our companies”.
Companies interested in benefiting from this personalized support can complete an available registration form.
The INOVA ALGARVE 3.0 project is developed in partnership with the Algarve Tourism Region, Tertúlia Algarvia, the University of Algarve, Algarve Evolution, KIPT – Association for Knowledge and Innovation in Tourism and CCDR Algarve.
The initiative benefits from co-financing from the Algarve 2030 Regional Program | Portugal 2030.
