Vienna – Living in Austria continued to become more expensive at the end of 2025. In the fourth quarter, the average rent including operating costs rose to 10.4 euros per square meter. This is an increase of 1.6 percent compared to the third quarter and an increase of 4.6 percent compared to the same period last year. This means that the rental level remained in the double-digit euro range throughout 2025, as Statistics Austria announced on Friday.
