Israel’s Defense Minister announced this Tuesday (17) that the Army eliminated Ali Larijani, a crucial figure in the Iranian government decades ago and currently head of the Supreme Security Counciland the general who commands the Islamist Basij militia.
“The commander of the General Staff has just informed me that Larijani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and (General Gholamreza) Soleimani, head of the Basij, Iran’s central repressive apparatus, were eliminated overnight,” declared Minister Israel Katz in a video message.
