The town of Paderne, in the municipality of Albufeira, hosts the 19th edition of Mostra do Folar on the 28th and 29th of March, an event that celebrates traditional gastronomy and customs associated with the Easter season.
The initiative takes place between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm and is free to enter, inviting residents and visitors to discover and taste different varieties of folar, an emblematic product of the region.
Music and entertainment over two days
The program includes musical performances that promise to liven up the place over the two days of the event. On March 28th, Jorge Guerreiro and Roberto Bernardino will take the stage.
On the 29th, the entertainment continues with shows by Rui and Miguel and the group Os do Alentejo, ensuring a festive and convivial atmosphere.
Tradition and regional products highlighted
The Folar Exhibition is an opportunity to value local gastronomy and traditional products, with emphasis on folar, a typical sweet associated with Easter celebrations.
In addition to the gastronomic aspect, the event also promotes meetings between generations, reinforcing the community spirit and cultural identity of the region.
The organization is in charge of, has the support of the Municipality of Albufeira, integrating the Aldeias de Portugal network and contributing to the dynamization of Paderne as a tourist and cultural destination.
