Between the 16th and 19th of March, took a decisive step to strengthen the citizenship of young people seeking a new path in life. Through the program “Register! Election”44 teenagers and young people complying with socio-educational measures in Rio Branco received their voter registration cards, guaranteeing their right to participate in the country’s democratic decisions.
The action focused on an audience aged 15 to 18, reaching 42 young people from male units (Aquiry, Acre and Santa Juliana) and two young women from the Mocinha Magalhães female unit. In addition to issuing the document, the program promoted a cycle of informative lectures, reinforcing that the title is an essential tool for access to the Social Protection Network and Brazilian public policies.

Partnership for Dignified Reeducation
The president of the Acre Socio-Educational Institute (ISE/AC), Mário César, highlighted that the initiative consolidates a historic partnership with the Judiciary. “No young person leaves the institution without documents. Offering citizenship is our fundamental goal to guarantee a re-education process that respects human dignity”, he stated.

The technical advisor for the Making Justice program, Tárcia Brito, reiterated that civil identification is the first step towards social inclusion, allowing mapping and breaking down logistical barriers that often isolate this portion of the population.
Commitment to the Future
In a meeting held on Thursday afternoon (19), the president of the TJAC, judge Laudivon Nogueira, received the technical team to evaluate the action figures and discuss an even broader cooperation agreement. The idea is to create a permanent flow of work between the Justice System and the Socio-Educational.

The judge reaffirmed the court’s commitment to complying with the guidelines of the National Socio-Educational Service System (Sinase) and the Just Penalty Plan. The latter, signed in August 2025, is a crucial measure to combat the “unconstitutional state of affairs” in the prison and socio-educational system, seeking humanized and effective solutions for public security and social reintegration.
