Watering orchids. What water should I water them to make them grow like crazy?
Please remember that an orchid has its own specific watering requirements. It’s about the water we pour into the pot. It is strongly discouraged to water the orchid with water straight from the tap for two reasons: firstly, it is too cold, and secondly, it is too hard. Choosing the right water is crucial to ensure healthy growth and uninterrupted flowering. It is best to use room temperature water to water orchids. Of course, the ideal solution for orchids is to water them with rainwater, but not all of us have access to it. That’s why I prepare a special water mixture to water my orchids. I pour 200 ml of distilled water into the watering can and add 50 ml of tap water. Then I water my orchids with it.
Orchid care
Follow a few rules and they will bloom beautifully and thus decorate the interior of our home. First of all, these are plants that need to be watered quite often, while being careful not to overwater them. The best solution is to moisturize, i.e. water the orchid once a week and after a while remove excess water from the base of the pot. The color of the orchid’s roots will be helpful in determining the appropriate watering frequency. If they are green, refrain from watering the plant. Once they are white in color, you can go ahead and water them.
