Unit is the largest in South America in the segment and is undergoing expansion with a focus on innovation
The president (PT) visits this Wednesday (25th March 2026) the Latam maintenance center, in São Carlos (SP). The unit is considered the largest in South America in this segment and is responsible for a relevant part of the maintenance of the airline’s fleet.
The complex is undergoing an expansion process with a focus on research, development and innovation. Among the projects are initiatives aimed at modernizing aircraft and adopting digital solutions for maintenance.
The agenda is part of the president’s visit to the city, which also included the inauguration of new areas of the University Hospital of the Federal University of São Carlos (HU-UFSCar).
