On CNN, Boulos criticizes governors for “omission” in rising fuel prices

The Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency Guilherme Boulos (PSOL), told CNN, this Wednesday (25), that governors are failing to act during the crisis of rising fuel prices occurring in the country as a result of the war taking place in Iran.

“Truck drivers cannot pay the price of the distributors’ greed and the inaction of certain state governors,” said Boulos.

The minister stated that Brazil cannot depend on the end of the war in Iran to resolve the issue of high fuel prices in the country, and asked governors to reduce ICMS in the states.

“Ending the war in Iran or not is not Lula’s responsibility, it is Trump’s responsibility with his feeling of ownership of the world, we cannot depend on that, Brazil cannot be at the mercy of that. It’s time for governors to do their part and reduce the ICMS”, he continued.
