Senator and presidential candidate published a video in which he responds about fraud in INSS discounts
The senator and pre-candidate for President (PL-RJ) released a video on Wednesday (25 March 2026) in which he responds about the fraud in discounts that began during the government of his father, the former president (PL).
The scheme was revealed by , triggered by the Federal Police and the Comptroller General of the Union. Frauds were identified in ACTs (Technical Cooperation Agreements) signed between the INSS and associative organizations. The investigations led to the removal of part of the institute’s leadership in April 2025.
In the video, on the social network X, Flávio is asked about the subject. “The federal government has clung to the idea that this INSS scandal was discovered and began to be combated during the Lula government and that the fraud began during the Bolsonaro government without there being any fight”says a journalist, who is not identified.
The senator interrupts him and responds: “Just to understand, so does this mean that Bolsonaro had a corruption scheme to favor Lula’s son?”.
The video ends suddenly with a montage of the end credits of a film by American director Michael Bay, responsible for the franchise “Transformers”.

Lulinha and INSS
One of the still unclear points regarding fraud in INSS discounts is whether or not, son of the president (PT), he was involved with the scheme. In December 2025, the Poder360 that Lulinha received an allowance from Careca from the INSS. The leak of his bank transactions, every 4 years, drew attention.
