In addition to deputy Pedro Longo and the president of the Elias Mansour Foundation (FEM), the party should receive new names in the coming days, as stated by the party leader in the state, former mayor Vagner Sales, in an interview with ContilNet this Friday (27).
The federal deputy Antônia Lúcia and the State Sports Secretary, Ney Amorim, are in their sights, who is expected to leave Podemos. A third name, which was not revealed by Vagner, is linked to the mayor of Sena Madureira, Gerlen Diniz.
“We are working and building. We have already spoken with Antônia Lúcia, with President Baleia [Rossi] and also with Ney Amorim. We are talking to Gerlen, the mayor of Sena Madureira, who will nominate a candidate for the MDB. Therefore, we are in contact with important names to make up this list”, he pointed out.
“I have no doubt that everyone will join us, as we are forming a competitive ticket, of equals, without stars in politics. I am confident that we will have a good ticket”, he concluded.
Vagner stated that the party should elect two to three federal deputies in 2026.
