Jerusalem/Tel Aviv/Ramallah – The Israeli parliament has passed the state budget for 2026, thereby averting early elections. The Knesset announced this early Monday morning. The adoption of the 699 billion shekels (around 192 billion euros) budget comes one month after the start of the joint war with the USA against Iran. Israel is also fighting against the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon.
