Suzuka – Oliver Bearman’s violent accident at the Japanese Grand Prix has sparked a safety debate in Formula 1. “We have warned for a long time that something like this could happen,” said Williams driver Carlos Sainz and called on the race management before the next race in the USA (May 3) to ensure that such an incident does not happen again: “I very much hope that we will find a better solution for Miami.”
