The well-known Czech host of Bachelor and Love Island Zorka Hejdová did not miss the Let’s Dance show in Bratislava this year either. She came to see the fourth round with her own eyes and was absolutely radiant on the red carpet. You can find photos in the gallery. However, her journey it also included refueling in Slovakia. She made fun of the current drivers’ nightmare in a video she posted on Instagram. “Zorka shocked by gasoline prices in Slovakia,” reports a short description of the post.
The video captures a simulated conversation between Hejdová and her colleague, also the moderator Tomáš Zástěra. “Massacre, normal. I filled up a full tank. You won’t understand how cheap gas they have there,” said the presenter. Zástěra was surprised and remarked that it is expensive in Slovakia.
“No, you’re not crazy. I filled a full tank for 210, here I fill a full tank for 4500. So I saved 4290. Unreal,” she continued, saying that she had discovered a gold mine. “But do you know that it’s in euros? She doesn’t know and she’s obviously satisfied,” added Zástěra at the end of the video, which you can find at the end of the article.
There was no crying to laugh
A few days earlier, the influencer also reacted to the prices of gasoline and diesel Zuzana Strausz Plačková. Unlike the Czech presenter, in her case it was a real opinion about a dramatic jump. Plačková took a picture of a totem with information about the price of fuel at the gas station. “Extreme ten diesel,” she was holding her head. The price for a liter of diesel was 1.999 euros, while for gasoline 1.609 euros.
In addition, from Friday, March 27, a special diesel price applies in Slovakia for drivers from abroad. It rose to the amount of 2,012 euros per liter of fuel. “The new special price of diesel applies exclusively to vehicles registered outside the territory of the Slovak Republic. It is determined on the basis of the average price of diesel in the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria. The European Commission (EC) publishes data on prices in individual countries every Thursday, and the calculation of the special price is based on these statistical data,” explained the Ministry of Finance (MF) of the Slovak Republic.
The ministry also reminded that the special price for foreign drivers does not apply to so-called premium diesel. The prices of such fuels are determined by gas stations through the usual pricing.
