Embraer delivers 44 aircraft in the 1st quarter of 2026

Company records increase of 47% in the annual comparison, driven by the executive jet sector

The (Brazilian Aeronautics Company) delivered 44 aircraft in the 1st quarter of 2026, growth of 47% compared to the same period of the previous year, when 30 units were transferred. The advance, according to the company, reflects the progress of recently implemented production leveling initiatives.

The faster pace of deliveries comes at a time when the Brazilian manufacturer seeks to release its backlog of firm orders (backlog), which reached a record level at the end of 2025 – a 20% increase in the volume of orders in the annual comparison.

The balance sheet numbers show that the executive aviation sector boosted operations during the period. 29 jets were transferred to customers – an increase of 26% compared to the 23 delivered in the 1st quarter of 2025. The performance was driven by the continued demand for light and medium-sized jets.

COMMERCIAL AVIATION AND DEFENSE

In commercial aviation, the manufacturer’s most profitable segment, 10 new aircraft were delivered (compared to 7 last year, an increase of 43%). Of this year’s deliveries, 3 were of the E195-E2 model – the largest civil commercial aircraft currently in production by Embraer.

The defense and security arm also registered positive movement, going from zero deliveries at the beginning of 2025 to 5 aircraft dispatched in the 1st quarter of this year. A KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military freighter and 4 A-29 Super Tucano light attack aircraft were delivered.

GOALS FOR THE YEAR

The financial record of US$31.6 billion in accumulated orders supports the manufacturer’s goals. Embraer maintained its projections and estimates to deliver 80 to 85 aircraft in commercial aviation throughout 2026.

For executive aviation, the expectation is 160 to 170 jets by December. In both civilian segments, the midpoints of the projections represent an estimated 6% year-over-year growth.
