When the name of Matej Sajf Cifra is mentioned, only one specific profession comes to mind. For some, he is a presenter from Fun radio, a vlogger, and for others, a prompt captain in the TV show JOJ Milujem Slovensko. The family is an integral part of the life of a well-known Slovak. Sajfa has never made a secret of the fact that background and relationships are a priority for him, which is also reflected in his content on social networks.
With his wife Veronika Cifrová Ostrihoňováa former moderator of Silna koztavy and current MEP for PS, has a daughter Sára and a son Šimonek. It was the health of the younger offspring that took them to the hospital a few weeks ago, both parents take turns staying by his side.
Cifrová Ostrihoňová commented on the situation, which is difficult for every parent, on Instagram last Sunday. “The situation in my family requires my full attention. I have been in the hospital with my son for several weeks. And right here it is important to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff,” she surprised fans with unpleasant news.
The Cifr family did not disclose the diagnosis or the reason for their son’s hospitalization. “We are working to make Šimi okay, but it will take some more time and patience before I can fully return to work at 100%. Greetings to all of you.” said the MEP.
An insight into how the little boy is doing was offered on the social network through a funny video on Wednesday, April 1, by Saif. Even in times when the little one might not be feeling well, his famous father knows how to turn everything into fun and drive away pain or dark thoughts.
In the VIDEO you can find at the beginning of the article, Sajfa humorously reacts to the situation, when a whole watermelon fell on the floor in their hospital room. The moderator added a description of the crime scene. Instead of anger or stress, he conducts a calm dialogue, where the son proposes a solution with the sincerity of a child. “Well, what are we going to do now, mate?” asks Šimon and focuses on the cracked and leaking watermelon. “I don’t know…but it doesn’t matter” says the little son innocently, while the father ironically states that it’s great that it fell to him and that he’s “glad”. “Doesn’t matter?” continues the moderator. He gets the answer that no. “And who doesn’t mind?” you can’t just have a famous father. “Me, because we’ll wipe it off,” Simon will find a solution. “Let’s wipe it off, huh? And I’m going to… huh? Great, good job!” praises the ingenuity of little Sajf additionally.
