Videos and images released by Iranian state media appear to show charred wreckage of several aircraft in the southern province of Esfahan.
The record comes after the president of a fighter jet shot down.
In the images, it is possible to see a large field of debris still burning. Aircraft parts, including what appear to be turboprop engines, also appear, but it is not yet known what type of plane they belong to.
