That of the president (PT) and first lady Janja was highlighted on social media this Sunday (April 5, 2026). The reason was the main dish chosen by the couple, paca meat.
In a video published in , Janja explained how he made the dish and said that the meat was seasoned with garlic, green seasoning and herbs for 2 days. Lula called the dish “divine”. The menu choice, however, was criticized on social media. Some internet users criticized the lunch and others shared memes on the subject.
On Sunday, after publishing the video, Janja spoke about the preparation of the meat: “The meat was a gift from a legal producer. Just today we saw a report on Globo Rural about paca farming. As long as it comes from breeding facilities specialized by Ibama, paca meat can be sold in our country.”
