- The US president says he will destroy all Iranian bridges by midnight tomorrow.
- Trump promises to shut down all Iranian power plants within four hours.
- The United States is making the non-aggression conditional on the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran.
- At the same time, Trump calls on Iranians to protest against the regime despite the threat of being shot.
“We have a plan. Thanks to the power of our military, every bridge in Iran will be destroyed by midnight tomorrow, every power plant in Iran will be out of order, burning, exploding and never to be used again. I mean total destruction by midnight, within four hours if we want it.” Trump said at a press conference.
On Saturday, the US president gave Iran an ultimatum to end the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, otherwise “hell will descend on them”. On Sunday, he extended it until Tuesday evening Washington time. But he confirmed that negotiations between the countries were continuing, with the US communicating with an “active and willing partner” on Iran’s side.
At the same time, the head of the White House again called on the Iranians to stand up to the regime, although he understands that it can be dangerous. “They should do it, even though the consequences are huge. They were told, ‘If you protest, you will be shot immediately,'” he told reporters.
